I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! I’ve always loved this time of year. The stress of figuring out what to get everyone is nearly forgotten with all the joy and love of the season. Aaannnd, the cookies, decorations, music, parties, and did I mention the cookies?
I wanted to thank everyone who purchased any of my designs on whatever product they ordered – stickers, t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, and a few more items! I love thinking of someone opening the package and seeing a design they chose from millions of other designs and designers. And knowing something I created moved someone to want to have it. Or moved them to get it for someone they know as a gift. It is humbling.
This season, my coloring books on Amazon and my download site are selling better than they have in the past. In the very saturated coloring book market, it is hard to get noticed. So I did some advertising. It helped get me noticed and I am so happy more people saw them and liked them enough to purchase!
I am just a small-time artist and am doing this in my spare time. I would love to do this full time. But it’s simply impossible right now. So I am thrilled when someone sees my art and wants to own something with it on it! 🙂
If you have purchased any of my designs on a product, please leave a review on the platform that you got it from. It really helps get my work out there and noticed. I have to say that I am not breaking even with the cost of advertising, however maybe it will help in the future and building my “name brand” better. We’ll see.
Reviews and comments also help me design better and learn about what people like and ways to improve something. For example, thicker or thinner lines for the coloring designs, more color choices for t-shirt and sweatshirt designs, and more. All feedback can be useful.
